Rules can be helpful in many ways. They can: Ensure fairness by creating a level playing field for everyone. Protect people from harm by setting standards of behavior. Maintain order by providing a framework for behavior. However, rules can also be seen as restrictive or unfair. It is important to consider the purpose of a rule before deciding whether or not to follow it. Cars 3 is a 2017 American 3D computer-animated comedy film produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. It is the eighteenth Pixar feature film and the third installment in the Cars film franchise, following Cars 2 (2011). It is directed by Brian Fee, a storyboard artist on Cars (2006) and Cars 2, and stars the voices of Owen Wilson, Cristela Alonzo, Chris Cooper, Armie Hammer, Larry the Cable Guy, Bonnie Hunt, Nathan Fillion, Kerry Washington and Lea DeLaria.[5] The film is scheduled to be released on June 16, 2017.[6]

Plot

After losing his racing title to Jackson Storm (Armie Hammer), along with a new generation of high tech racers, many begin questioning if the famous Lightning McQueen (Owen Wilson) will retire after he endures a terrible crash. McQueen's sponsor, Rust-eze, is bought by Sterling (Nathan Fillion), who wants to turn him into a racing brand. Lightning asks for a chance to race in the Florida 500 and begins to train with race technician Cruz Ramirez (Cristela Alonzo), who's always had her own racing dreams.

In addition, several drivers and other racing-related personalities from NASCAR will have roles or cameos, including Chase Elliott, Ryan Blaney, Darrell Wallace Jr., Darrell Waltrip, Shannon Spake, Humpy Wheeler, Jeff Gordon, Daniel Suárez, Kyle Petty, Mike Joy, Ray Evernham and as well as Richard Petty's return as Strip "The King" Weathers, who now acts as Cal Weathers' (his nephew) crew chief.[14] It is also confirmed that Doc Hudson will appear in flashbacks with unused audio recordings of the late Paul Newman from the first film.
